President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress behind closed doors.
The meeting is holding inside the President’s office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo is also attending the meeting.
Speculations have it that the governors may have been piqued by some of the actions of the President which may not have been favourable with the APC governors.
One of such is the ambassadorial list which many say has not favoured the governors’ choices.
The governors were seen strolling into the presidential villa at about 11:45am on Monday, for the meeting scheduled to kick off at noon.
The governors were led to the meeting by the Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum who is also the governor of Imo State, Chief Rochas Okorocha.
Some governors at the meeting include those of Ogun, Kogi, Kaduna, Edo, Zamfara, Benue, Sokoto and Kano among others.
Some state governors including Lagos and Nassarawa are being represented by their deputies.
The agenda of the meeting is not known.
