The administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has created six million jobs since its inauguration o. May 29, 2015.
The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Mallam Garba Shehu, made this known on a Channels TV programme, Sunday Politics, on Sunday evening.
Shehu, who was arguing against the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan, said that more jobs will be created before the end of the administration’s tenure.
Also, Shehu debunked allegations that members of the opposition were being targeted by the administration’s anti-corruption war.
The presidential aide added that Buhari has nothing to fear about his reelection bid as he has performed in his first term.
He said, “Under the Buhari administration, several companies have been created and several job opportunities have been created for our youths.
“There is no special treatment for the APC caught with corruption. The same treatment that is meted on the PDP is the same to APC members. We are not fighting political enemies with the EFCC as being said by the PDP.
“Buhari is not afraid of the 2019 elections because he has performed well and he will be returned,”
