President Muhammadu Buhari has extended the lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for another 14 days.
The president made the declaration in a national broadcast at 7pm on Monday.
He said the extension takes effect from 11:59pm on Monday, April 13.
Recall that the president had imposed a 14-day lockdown from Monday, March 30 to curb the spread of coronavirus in Lagos, Ogun and FCT.
Many state governments took a cue from the president’s directive and imposed similar restrictions.
