President Muhammadu Buhari and other officials in charge of the finances of the country are currently holding a meeting regarding the crash in oil price which occurred as a ripple effect of the outbreak of Coronavirus across the world.
According to a report by the PUNCH, present at the meeting is the governor of the Central bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; Minister of State Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva; the Minister of State, Budget/National Planning, Clement Agba and the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mele Kyari.

The outbreak of Coronavirus in China and its uncontrollable spread to many countries around the globe have been speculated to be the major cause of the crash in crude oil prices.
