Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has lampooned reports that President Muhammadu Buhari gave more Christians cabinet posts in his administration.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo said earlier in the week that allegations of nepotism and clannishness levelled against Buhari were unfounded.
Osinbajo added that the president has given more Christian Southerners more vital posts in his administration than Muslim Northerners.
But in a post via his verified personal Twitter handle, Fani-Kayode said the president needed to do more than appoint Christians in his administration to prove the allegations against him wrong.
He said, “More Christians and southerners have been slaughtered, persecuted, humiliated and denigrated by the Buhari govt. than ANY other civilian govt. in the history of our country. It is not about how many Christian Ministers Buhari has in his cabinet: it is about respect and dignity.”
