Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State has condemned the level of threat northerners are facing for not supporting the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd) and he also added that Buhari doesn’t believe in Democracy.
Lamido, who spoke during the party’s presidential campaign in the state said “The fear of Buhari is the beginning of leadership failure; therefore Nigerians and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, government must stand up to its mandate.”
He warned that the siege mentality northerners who don’t support Buhari are facing might cost APC at the polls.
He said Nigerians should be cautious; they shouldn’t give their mandate to someone who doesn’t believe in Democracy.
He added “If you remove Gen. Buhari from APC, most of other members that rally behind him in the party lack sincere commitment and focus that Nigeria requires at this present time.”
Meanwhile, the Boko Haram Islamist sect on Tuesday claimed responsibility for the Baga Attack.
In a video posted on Youtube, the sect leader Abubakar Shekau described President Goodluck Jonathan and Gen. Mohammadu Buhari as infidels. He said “Jonathan, you are in trouble. And Buhari, do you think he is a true Muslim? He’s an infidel.”
