President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the nation’s service chiefs to “take out” bandits, kidnappers, and their sponsors.
According to the National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd), the president gave the directive during a meeting with the service chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Monguno, who briefed State House correspondents after the meeting, said that the president charged the military to end the reign of terror unleashed on hapless Nigerians by bandits and kidnappers.

He called on the armed forces to move from being reactive to a position of proactivity.
The president met the service chiefs ahead of his scheduled trip to London, United Kingdom for a “routine medical check-up”.
