The President who has been in the United Kingdom receiving treatment is scheduled to return today.
According to The Punch, a source close to the Presidency disclosed on the condition of anonymity that the President is slated to return today.
“He is expected back on Thursday (today). We are in touch with him. As of today (Wednesday), we have not been told that there is any change in arrangement,” said the source.
The Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, had been in charge of affairs ever since the President left as was indicated in a letter Buhari wrote to the Senate informing them of his trip.
Buhari’s first and probably only pictures in the UK on this second trip emerged a few days ago when he welcomed Archbishop Justin Welby who had presented Buhari with a souvenir.
