Nuhu Ribadu, former Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) hosted top nigerian politicians over the weekend at his son’s wedding. However, Internet users were shocked to see a photo of President Buhari’s media aide, Garba Shehu kneeling before Atiku Abubakar, his boss’s political opponent.

It just shows that there no permanent foes nor friends in politics but permanent interest. Nothing is new about this meeting, they all share common interest in the Ribadus.

Expect the usual “politicians are laughing, their supporters are fighting” pieces of advice from your favourite twitter fencists. Tell them that in ancient power-play, laughing with the ‘enemy’ while poisoning their food wasn’t altogether uncommon.
