The spokesperson for the PDP presidential campaign, Buba Galadima, was on the Channels Television program, Sunday Politics, yesterday. While speaking, Galadima alleged that the crowd that that is always televised during APCs’ rallies are not genuine supporters of the party. He said that most of the attendees were given some money so as to attend.
Galadima explained, “Every campaign that Buhari goes to in an APC-controlled state, local governments are empowered with twenty to forty-five million naira to purchase people and bring them to these rallies, and suddenly Buhari starts addressing the crowd and they all disappear because they must fulfill the contract for which they were brought in “.
He emphasized that PDP’s campaign in Kaduna had more crowd than what APC had in the state. Galadima equally said that the same can be said of Kano rallies by the two parties.
The Statesman stated, “One Local Government rally by Kwankwaso is more than the global rally that was organized for Buhari after spending nearly one billion naira.”
Galadima accused Buhari’s administration of corruption and nepotism while labeling it as a government of exclusion.
He maintained, “It is shameful that somebody who rides on the issue of corruption will raise the hand of a thief, certified crook, and say this is our candidate.
“In Kano, you have seen the President raising the hand of a corrupt individual, a corrupt person that the whole nation has seen taking bribes, they are talking of corruption, that man belongs to them.
“They brought people from Niger, my good friend the Sultanate of Damagaram and two Governors from the Niger Republic, are already telling us that they will bring aliens to vote for them.”
Galadima subsequently hailed leaders of Ohanaeze who recently endorsed Atiku, adding that their gesture shows that there is still unity in the country.
“I commend these Elders for coming out boldly to tell the world that in Atiku they have seen a candidate that will unite Nigeria,” he stated.
