Senator Ben Murray Bruce and Reno Omokri have always been vocal about their thoughts on the state of affairs and have gained reputations as vocal critics of the mistakes and failings of the current regime.
So when both accounts tweeted strange tweets that seemed to be standing by the government it raised quite a few eyebrows. First off, Bruce tweeted about how the current anti-corruption war is not a witch hunt and that those implicated should prove their innocence. While this may indeed be the way he feels, the tone of the tweet didn’t sit well with Nigerian Twitter.
Same with Omokri who after all his constant criticism of the government then goes on to tweet stating that the controversy of Buhari’s appointees coming from the North was not an issue.
Nigerians now believe that the accounts have been hacked or Senator Bruce has been reached by some unknown parties.
