A robbery attack was attempted on passengers of a BRT bus, but luckily the attackers plans were foiled by Men of the Lagos State Neighborhood Corps on Friday.

The robbers reportedly boarded a BRT bus from Tollgate, Lagos Abeokuta Expressway, Ogun State, en route to Oshodi around 7.30am.

According to reports, once the bus was in motion, the robbers suddenly brought out weapons around Ijaiye area and started beating up the BRT passengers.

Luckily, the BRT bus driver immediately drove to a halt and raised the alarm which caught the attention of passersby and LNSC officials around.
