Brooklyn Beckham has undergone a football trial for Chelsea FC, it has been reported.
Supporters were stunned to see the superstar at the premier league’s Surrey training ground Tuesday night – and to see dad David Beckham cheering him on from the stands. One Twitter user (@ReyonDillon) posted a pic showing Beckham with a young Chelsea academy player, sparking speculation that Brooklyn was to sign for the Blues.
However, parents in attendance took to Twitter to inform the world that David was present to support his son.
One onlooker wrote: “Ok, so I’ve just picked up that the reason David Beckham was at Cobham today was that son Brooklyn is being trialled for CFC U14s #Phew [sic]”
Another Tweeted: “”David Beckham’s son Brooklyn is on trial for my team #chelseafc David Beckham was watching our training session tonight!! Madness.”
Brooklyn, 13, was there to take part in a big try-out for the under-14s squad. At this stage, GLAMOUR.com are unaware of his results. But a source revealed: “Brooklyn is like any teenager with an ambition to be a footballer. He has just returned to England and wanted to see how he fared.
“Chelsea are one of the strongest academies in the country. The difference is that he is the son of the former England captain and this will draw attention.”
