British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has been released from Intensive care unit at St. Thomas’ Hospital, as his condition improves weeks after testing positive to the coronavirus.
“The Prime Minister has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery,” a No. 10 Downing Street spokesperson said in a statement to NBC News.

Few days ago, he was moved to intensive care after showing worsening symptoms of the Coronavirus.
Boris had been admitted to St. Thomas’, a National Health Service hospital as a precautionary step, because he still had coronavirus symptoms even though 10 days had passed since he was first diagnosed, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said during a press briefing on April 6.
According to 10, Downing Street, Boris Johnson was moved based on the advice of his medical team and is receiving good treatment.
