Police officers have today barred Bring Back out Girls (BBOG) protesters from gaining entrance to the Presidential villa. Today is the second anniversary of the abductions and the group had marched on Aso Rock in recognition of this to remind the government of their promises.
The protesters had set out from the Unity Fountain in Abuja around 10:30am, but met a wall of police officers on the road leading to the villa barring their path.
This is the third time that the group have paid a visit to the Presidential villa in the Buhari era.
In July they were well received before facing initial resistance in November but gaining access after insisting.
