American singer, Mariah Carey whose engagement to billionaire businessman, James Packer was called off some weeks ago after the couple’s 11 months together has admitted that its been a tough time for her.
The 46-year-old singer on Ellen DeGeneres’ Show on Wednesday, admitted her hurt for the first time since the breakup.
Ellen during the show asked the singer about her mental and emotional health following the breakup to which she replied: “I think I’m doing well. No. I’m actually. Everything happens for a reason, things are the way they are.”
Ellen DeGeneres, who was recently honoured by the US President, Barack Obama further pushed by asking the singer about her ex-boyfriend’s reluctance to feature in her upcoming docu-series with E!
Mariah in response said: “He didn’t want to be in the docu-series at all. And yet he’s in it. You see him.”
She added: “‘Allegedly’. It’s kind of difficult to talk about it at the moment.”
