SuperSport channels on DSTV and GOtv will now air all 52 matches of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cote d’Ivoire live beginning from Saturday, 13 January, 2024.
The Herald recalls that MultiChoice had last week said SuperSport channel on DSTV would not be able to broadcast the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament live.
But a credible source has now hinted that SuperSport will indeed show AFCON 2023 games starting from Saturday’s opener between hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea Bissau.
According to the source privy to the arrangements, SuperSport rights are non-exclusive and will therefore be available on most bouquets on DSTV and GOtv.
