Lagos Monarch, His Royal Majesty (HRM), Oba Idowu Abiodun Oniru known as the Oba of Oniru has passed on today, 23rd September, 2019.
The Lagos Monarch, died at the ripe age of 82 after a brief illness to join his ancestors.
The family of the late Monarch is yet to release any official statement confirming the death of the King as expected. According to Yoruba culture, necessary traditional rites must be performed anyone can make the public announcement of the death of the King.

The late Oba has children was survived by many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Among his children is the famous Radio and TV Personality, Tolu Oniru who recently birthed her first child with husband, Tunde Demuren. Tunde Demuren, son-in-law to the late Monarch is a Nigerian Pilot.
