Dr Myles Munroe of the Bahamas Faith Ministries and his wife Ruth Munroe are among nine people who died after their plane crashed in Grand Bahamas.
Others on board the flight were Dr Richard Pinder, Pastor Lavard Parks, his wife and their baby, Mr Syanley Thurston and a visitor from Africa. The group was headed to Global Leadership Forum orgnised by the Bahamas Faith Ministries that was scheduled to take place between November 10 to 13. The pilot of the airplane also died in the crash.
The Lear 36 executive Jet which took off from the Lynden Pindling International Airport at 12.07AM Kenya time, was scheduled to land at the Grand Bahama International Airport at 5.10PM, but struck a crane at the Grand Bahama Ship Yard and exploded on impact.
According to www.tribune242.com all passengers on the private jet died as the plane crashed near a junkyard area.
The Bahamas Civil Aviation Department in conjunction with the Department of Civil Aviation Aircraft Accident Investigation Prevention Unit, and the Bahamas police, are set to launch a full scale investigation Monday morning.
