There are strong indications that the Federal Government may name Matthew Seiyefa as the new acting Director general of the DSS.
Seiyefa, from Bayelsa state is the most senior Director in the DSS.
Reports have it that he arrived the presidential villa in an official SUV at 4pm today, holding a presumably important file, and was promptly at the entrance by the ADC to the acting president.
Moments later, the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, was also seen walking into the Vice President’s office, however, 40 minutes later, he was seen rushing out again, nimble enough to evade state House Correspondents, who tried to catch up with him for an interview.
However the appointment has been ‘confirmed’ on an going live Program by a reporter in the presidency on Nigeria info 99.3fm.
