The Department of State Service,DSS, had on Thursday refused to release Sowore who was granted bail by the High Court sitting in Abuja, on the basis that it had not been served a copy of the court.

PUNCH has reported that the Department of States Service, DSS, has hindered two attempts made by a court bailiff to serve a fresh copy of the court order for the release of the convener of #RevolutionNow protest Omowole Sowore.

According to PUNCH report, the bailiff first arrived the DSS headquarters in Abuja Friday 27th September, 2019, around 9.30 a.m. on Friday, but was asked to return by 12 noon when the Director-General of DSS, Yusuf Bichi, would be around.
