The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has reversed Ban on Cryptocurrency, The Herald reports.
This online news platform understands that this was disclosed in a circular on Friday, December 22, 2023, by CBN’s director of financial policy and regulation, Haruna Mustapha.
The Nigerian apex bank said it is now providing guidelines and regulations for banks about managing cryptocurrency in line with global trends to avoid its misuse while urging banks to comply with the guidelines and regulations.
