The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, has announced that he has tested positive for coronavirus.
According to Johnson’s tweet on his official Twitter handle, he developed mild symptoms of the virus over the last 24hrs and was thereafter confirmed positive.
He tweeted;
“Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus.
“I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus.
“Together we will beat this. #StayHomeSaveLives”
