Scores are feared dead as a bomb attack rocked a motor park in the Adamawa capital, Yola late Tuesday evening.
The explosion was suspected to have been caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) which hit Kasuwan Gwari along Jimeta bye-pass close to Tipper park, Jambutu.
An eyewitness said the explosion occurred close to the main vegetable market in the town and when traders were getting prepared to close for the day’s business.
While many are feared dead, the casualty figure could not be verified as at the time of filing this report.
However, security agencies are said to have condoned off the area.
