Singer Daniel Benson, better known as BNXN, has issued an apology following a social media exchange deemed disrespectful towards fellow musician Davido.
The drama unfolded on Thursday when BNXN seemingly threw shade at Davido while interacting with a fan on an unspecified social media platform (likely Twitter based on the context). This prompted Davido to delete a previous tweet teasing a collaboration with BNXN, hinting at potential tension between the two artists.
Despite Davido’s reaction, BNXN initially maintained his stance, insisting he would release the song even without Davido’s approval. He claimed to have written “everything” and downplayed the situation, stating fans “blew his tweet out of proportion.”
However, the situation took a turn when Dremo, a signee under Davido’s record label DMW, stepped in. Dremo took to his platform (likely Twitter) to express his disapproval of BNXN’s actions, tweeting: “@BNXN that tweet was mad disrespectful bro, you can’t be tweeting like you don’t know fans will blow shit out of proportion cos you clearly knew what you…“
Following Dremo’s intervention, BNXN seemingly softened his stance, replying to Dremo’s tweet with: “No yawa [trouble]. I’m sorry.“
