The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has cause to worry going by the prophecies of a visually-impaired prophet, Muyideen Kasali, who is the General Overseer of the House of Mercy Prayer Ministry.
Kasali said the ruling party would split into four groups as its electoral success would get into its head. He said the party must also guard against becoming overbloated, which could lead it to ruin.
The prophet, according to The Sun, gave these revelations at an investiture of key leaders of the church which also included himself.
“This year, 2016, would be a year of many political crises. APC would split into four groups, and they would no longer have unity among them. They would be over bloated; too much success would destroy the party,” he said.
Also, the cleric towed the line of many other prophets who have prophesized about the good intentions President Muhammadu Buhari has towards Nigeria.
However, Kasali urged Nigerians to pray for the President as his good intentions may not materialise into reality for the enjoyment of Nigerians.
He added: “Buhari has good plans for Nigeria but he would achieve only a few unless we pray seriously for him. I had a dream that houses were gutted by fire this year. Buhari called a meeting on repairing all the refineries and Nigerians were jubilating but nothing happened in that sector till the year ended.”
In the same vein, he warned Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola to be careful with the kind of power he appoints as advisers as a plot to soil his good name will be hatched.
“I saw many sealed containers, which they said contained equipment for electric power. But when the containers were opened, they only contained torchlight, and candles etc.
“Electric poles would fall and cause fire outbreaks that would gut houses. Without serious prayers, a lot of spoilers would destroy Fashola’s name. He must be careful with those he appoints as his advisers.
“They would buy one thing many times, but the one that works would be missing. If he is wise, he should ask for the spirit of wisdom from God; if he gets that, he would succeed, but for him not to regret being a minister and being labeled a super thief, he must watch the people around him.
“The sad thing is that he would not embezzle anything but those around him would do so. Operators in the kingdom of darkness are already working against the ministry which Fashola is heading,” he stressed.
