Self-proclaimed relationship expert and popular social media influencer, Blessing Okoro, widely recognized as Blessing CEO, has publicly apologized to multi-award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, Davido, over her previous accusations of a debt amounting to N4.5 million.
The controversy arose a week ago when Blessing CEO publicly called out Davido on social media, asserting that he owed a substantial sum of money to Lagos-based celebrity auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbona, known as IVD Motors. She claimed that the debt was related to a car purchase that Davido made for his logistics manager, Israel DMW. However, IVD Motors had previously asserted that Davido did not owe them anything.
In response to these allegations, Davido issued a stern warning to anyone making such accusations online, emphasizing that he would not hesitate to retaliate when provoked.
Following the controversy and public warning, Blessing CEO was called in for questioning by the police after Davido filed a petition against her. However, within 24 hours of her release from the police station, she posted a video on her Instagram account, offering a public apology to the singer for her previous allegations.
