Nigerian singer, Blackface, has made a passionate appeal for a reunion of the defunct music group, Plantashun Boiz, which consisted of himself, 2Face, and Faze. Blackface took to his Instagram page to call on his former bandmates to reunite, emphasizing the strength in unity.
The group, which split in 2004, briefly reunited in 2007 for a third and final album before splitting again. Blackface’s call for reunion comes as a surprise, given the past feuds and disagreements among the group members.
Blackface wrote, “Plantashun Boiz, the question now is to be or not to be and why? @fazealone @official2baba. My people, oya make una talk put mouth for this matter! We are on a mission for world peace and it’s not a small thing! Unity is strength and not division. Let’s go champs.”
Fans and followers are eagerly waiting to see if 2Baba and Faze will respond to Blackface’s call for reunion. Will the Plantashun Boiz reunite once again? Only time will tell.
