Billionaire Kidnap Kingpin, Evans Pleads Guilty To Charges

Arrested Billionaire Kidnap kingpin and crime lord, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans, has appeared in court today, Wednesday, 30th August and pleaded guilty to a two count charge of kidnapping.

Recall that the Billionaire kidnap kingpin was arrested some months ago and he confessed to having made over $7 billion from the illegal kidnapping business.

Evans, following his arrest also revealed that he was part of a gang of robbers who attacked a popular financial institution in Lagos in 2006.

Confessing to various crimes he was involved in, the criminal mastermind also revealed that he had been a partaker of bullion van heists, drug trafficking and kidnapping.

Appearing before the court today, the criminal mastermind who had earlier revealed that he does not want to be released from custody as his life is in danger pleaded guilty to the charges brought against him by the Lagos State Government.

Evans, before the court quickly responded with ‘I am guilty’ when the charges were read to him.

Evans was ably represented in court by his legal counsel, Olukoya Ogungbeje. .

The office of the Attorney-General had earlier revealed that the criminal mastermind will be charged to court on offences bordering kidnapping, extortion and others before Justice Oshodi at 10:00 a.m.

The prosecution counsel was led by the state Attorney-General, Mr. Adeniji Kassim.
