“She Didn’t Attend Our Father’s Burial,” Brother To Billionaire Kidnap Kingpin, Evans’ Wife Speaks

3 Min Read

Following the arrest of Billionaire kidnap kingpin, Evans, born Chidumeme Onwuamadike, more revelations about his life, kidnap syndicate and family has surfaced online as his father had earlier claimed that Evans’ mother was responsible for his illegal and wayward life.

Evans who recently countered his father’s confession noted that he bough two vehicles and gave his father N3million to start up fish and pig farming business as against earlier claims by his father that he had been living in abject poverty.

However, in the latest twist of events, Evans’ wife, Uchenn Precious Onwuamadike’s brother has revealed that his sister has not visited him since marrying Evans.

The kidnap kingpin’s wife who hails from a village at Awo Oraifite in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State was reported to have gotten married to Evans in 2006.

Uchenna’s brother while speaking with Vanguard yesterday noted that even when their father died in 2014, Uchenna, the last of 13 children of the Okoyes did not attend the burial ceremony.

He added that he has not been in contact with his sister since she got married and bore Evans five children.

Uchenna’s brother, a farmer and handy man at Oraifite market said he would not be able to identify his brother in-law, Evans, if they met.

He said: “Our father was very sick when Uchenna got married and he was bedridden for eight years before he died in 2014. It was her father in-law that came for the burial. Once she got married, nobody heard from her again and sometimes we heard that she was living abroad.

“My elder brother who is living abroad once told me that he communicated with her and there was no way I could know their present predicament because I do not watch television, neither do I have a mobile phone that can be used for browsing.”

He added that despite the fact that his family is a poor one, Uchenna and her husband never cared about them.

He further noted that he had not heard that his sister’s husband is a kidnapper.

Uchenna’s aged mother who is reportedly diabetic is presently staying with one of her brothers in the North and has been away for over one year.
