Praise Nelson, renowned for his captivating performances in the Big Brother Naija Lockdown reality show, has added another feather to his cap as he graduates from the National Open University (NOUN) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication.
The prestigious occasion took place during NOUN’s 13th convocation ceremony held on Saturday, where a total of 22,175 students were conferred with degrees and certificates across the university’s 120 study centers nationwide.
Among the graduates, Praise stood out as he proudly shared his academic milestone on social media, expressing gratitude for completing this significant phase of his life. He revealed that his journey towards earning his degree commenced in 2013, highlighting the challenges and triumphs he encountered along the way.
“Started this journey in 2013; life took me through so many turns but I am proud to say I finally completed this phase of my life,” he wrote, announcing his accomplishment to his followers. “Say hello to the newest graduate – B.Sc Mass Communication.”
Praise Nelson rose to fame as a participant in the 2020 edition of the Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ season, where his dynamic personality and impressive dance moves endeared him to fans across the country.
Hailing from Enugu State, Nigeria, Praise boasts a rich background in dance, having clinched top honors at the K-Pop World Festival in South Korea in 2015 and securing third place in a national Dance Competition in 2010.
