Beyoncé has appeared in a new video promote a campaign to ban the word ‘bossy’ arguing that it is a negative word used to label ambitious young women.
“I’m not bossy,” the singer says in the video. “I’m the boss.”
The campaign was created by the Girl Scouts of USA and LeanIn.Org, a non-profit founded Facebook’s chief operating officer by Sheryl Sandberg.
Other celebrities featured in the campaign are actress Jennifer Gardner, designer and singer Victoria Beckham and former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice.
