A former Minister of Aviation Chief Femi Fani-Kayode on Wednesday alleged that over 100 persons have been murdered by suspected Fulani herdsmen in the last two days.
Fani-Kayode made this known via his verified Twitter handle, wondering what the men in the state are doing to protect their women and children from the attacks.
He said this while reacting to the murder of two Catholic priests and 17 others by armed Fulani herdsmen.
The priests, Fr. Joseph Gor and Felix Tyolaha, and others were killed in Ayar Mbalom community in the Gwer East Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday.
Fani-Kayode tweeted, “Over 100 people have been killed by Fulani terrorists in Benue state alone in the last 2 days. This is nothing but butchery and carnage and @MBuhari has chosen to ignore it and look the other way. Today women are protesting in Makurdi wearing black. Where are the men of Benue?”
