Former Big Brother Naija housemate Vee has weighed in on the controversy surrounding Nigerian designer Veekee James’ participation in the “suspect challenge” with her husband Femi Atere.
In a TikTok video, Vee acknowledged the potential risks of sharing personal content online but defended Veekee James’ choices, citing her experience as a seasoned content creator.
Vee stated, “Veekee James knows what she’s doing… She has her own team, they watched and edited the videos. So they know what they’re doing basically.”
Vee also noted that Veekee James’ intention might be to generate buzz, adding, “If her intention is to get people talking about her, she’s doing a great job.”
Vee concluded, “I’m not the biggest fan of couples’ content or goals, but I feel like they know what they’re doing… At the end of the day, it’s her cross to carry; social media comes with a lot of discernment.”
