Big Brother Naija reality star Neo Akpofure has opened up about his past, revealing that he used to work as a taxi driver before gaining fame.
Neo shared this personal story while reflecting on his journey to stardom. In a now-viral post on his official X account, he posted a throwback picture featuring himself and popular musician MC Galaxy. The photo was taken five years ago when Neo was working as a Bolt driver in Calabar.
Neo recounted a memorable encounter with MC Galaxy, who he picked up as a passenger. “Five years ago today, I was still driving a Bolt in Calabar when I picked up MC Galaxy and his associate. He was craving bush meat and palm wine from a place called Atimbo. We enjoyed the meal together before I dropped them off at the airport,” Neo wrote.
He reflected on how this meeting and his experiences as a cab driver shaped his outlook on life. “Fast forward to today, I look back and see how far I have come. If I had given up on my dreams then, I would have missed out on so much.”
Neo rose to fame in 2020 after participating in the BBNaija reality show. Since then, he has built a successful career as an actor, model, and social media influencer.
