After a successful Euro 2016 with his country Portugal, Andre Gomes has secured a dream move to Barcelona with the Catalan giants splashing €40m on the attacking midfielder.
This has come on the back of two impressive seasons with Valencia and before then he was with perennial finalists Benfica.
The 22-year-old was also reportedly a target for rivals Real Madrid, who have now lost out not only on Gomes but possibly Pogba who has reportedly agreed a world record deal of €110m .
Here’s the tweet from Barcelona confirming the acquisition.
