Barcelona have completed the loan signing of Nigerian forward, Asisat Oshoala,  from Chinese Women’s Super League side Dalian Quanjian F.C

“This is obviously one of the best clubs in the world. The team has a great history and wonderful football mentality,” said Oshoala.

“I am excited about playing with Vicky Losada again. She’s a great midfielder, with a lot of energy and skill. I also met Fabiana in China and she helped me to make this decision”.

“My goal is to strengthen the team and help them to win and make history. This is a fantastic opportunity because I’m sure something big will happen here.”

She played for the Liverpool women’s team before moving to the Arsenal ladies in 2016. With them she won the Women’s FA Cup, before moving to China with Dalian Quanjian F.C.

She has been described by some as one of the finest female footballers in the world.

She will wear the number 20 jersey and could be in action by this weekend when her new club face off against Albacete.
