Goals by Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Paulinho ensured the Azulgrana restored their nine points lead over Atletico Madrid at the top of the La Liga standings.
The match also saw Ousmane Dembele return to league football after recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in mid September.
Javier Mascherano also enjoyed a league start, having seen game time hard to come by under new coach Ernesto Valverde.
With the win, Barça have 48 points from 18 games, nine points ahead of Atletico Madrid who 39 points in 18 games.
The next game for Barcelona is their Copa del Rey Round of 16 second leg against Celta Vigo on Thursday at the Camp Nou.
