Armed men suspected to be bandits terrorizing some parts of Kaduna State have attacked the Zango community in Samaria, Zaria town and kidnapped an unspecified number of residents.
According to reports, the attackers stormed the community with sophisticated weapons, shooting sporadically before whisking the victims away from the scene.

It was gathered that the operation which lasted for over 30 minutes occurred at about 1 am when most residents were fast asleep.
Meanwhile, former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani confirmed the incident via a tweet on his Twitter handle tweeted, “Early this morning, Bandits stormed Zango area Samaru, Zaria & kidnapped scores of people.
“Ahmadu Bello University main campus, College of Aviation and Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology located in the same area must take immediate preventive security steps to secure lives”.
