Amid all the criticism and even a recent ban facing Italian international Mario Balotelli, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has slammed him with yet another condemnation.
Balotelli wasn’t fielded in Liverpool’s last two matches, League Cup quarter final with Bournemouth and Premier League fixture with Arsenal.
Brendan Rodgers admits the striker does not fit into their style of play.
“We’ve seen it isn’t really his game,” Rodgers said.
“Working with Mario we see someone who is better in and around the box so that level of intensity and pressing isn’t part of his game.
“You try to get the best out of the players you have and the quality you have.”
