After a week of treatment, veteran Yoruba theatre icon, Moses Adejumo popularly called ‘Baba Sala’, has been released from hospital.
The Octogenarian had been undergoing treatment since August 17 for what was termed as age-related ailment at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan.
Mr Emmanuel Adejumo, the son of the octogenarian actor confirmed the news and thanked fans and well-wishers for their prayers.
“To the glory of God my daddy has been discharged from the hospital.”I want to use this opportunity to thank all friends and fans of my daddy for the love, care and concerns. “I actually thank everyone for all their comments and love,” he added.
The Chief Medical Director of the UCH, Prof. Temitope Alonge, said the hospital would be responsible for Baba Sala’s hospital bill.
