Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has spoken out against the brutal murder of Idowu Christianah, a 300-level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). Christianah was allegedly killed by her friend, Ayomide Adeleye, a suspected serial killer.

Ayra Starr took to social media to condemn the act, calling for swift justice for the victim. She emphasized the need to address violence against women, stating that they deserve better protection and treatment. Her post read, “Stop killing us! Stop raping us! The murder has sparked outrage, with an ongoing investigation revealing that Adeleye had previously been linked to the deaths of his ex-girlfriend and blood sister in separate incidents. Ayra Starr’s outcry joins the growing demand for justice and an end to violence against women.
