According to Spotify’s latest report, Ayra Starr and Tems have taken the lead as Nigeria’s most streamed artists in 2024. The global music streaming platform released a list of Nigeria’s top 30 tracks for the first half of 2024, with Ayra Starr’s collaboration with Rauw Alejandro on “Santa” and her solo hit “Comma” securing the top two spots. Tems’ “Love Me Jeje” came in third, followed by Luciano and Omah Lay’s “Another Vibe” and Burna Boy and Savage’s “Metro Booming Just Like Me”.
Phiona Okumu, Spotify’s Head of Music for Sub-Saharan Africa, revealed that the list highlights the most listened-to Nigerian tracks outside the country between January 1 and June 30, 2024.
