President Muhammadu Buhari has warned ministerial nominees to avoid waste of resources and impunity because his administration will not ignore the issue of corruption among public officers.
The president also urged the nominees to work as a team so that they can key into the change agenda of his administration.
During a two-day retreat at the Banquet Hall, Abuja, the President also urged the minsters to consider themselves privileged to be called to service.
The president however told the ministers-designate to use the office of his chief of staff as official communication channel in line with the presidential system of government.
He restated his commitment to fight corruption, solve unemployment problems, tackle insecurity and also diversify the economy for sustainable growth.
The retreat which commended on Wednesday at the Transcorp hotel in Abuja and is expected to end on Friday is themed “Delivering Change: From Precepts to Practice”.
