La Liga giants, Atletico Madrid have reportedly prepared a deal worth £12 million to lure Nigerian and Watford striker, Odion Ighalo to the Vicente Calderon.
Ighalo is one of the most potent strikers in Europe this season, netting 14 goals in 18 league appearances, and Atletico see him as the solution to their goal-scoring problems.
The club is said to be monitoring him closely and have already sent scouts to watch him play on several occasions.
Reports also say that the club is quite ready to offload Colombian striker, Jackson Martinez, who has been finding it difficult to find the back of the net since his 35 million euros, July 2015 move from Porto.
It was gathered that the club’s readiness to offload Martinez is to create room for Ighalo and assure him of a starting shirt.
