Atiku, Ribadu share messages for Tinubu, Ganduje, Buni, others present at children’s wedding fatiha

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and pioneer Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu have taken to social media to appreciate dignitaries present at their children’s wedding fatiha on Saturday.

Atiku’s son, Aliyu and Ribadu’s daughter, Fatima formalised their union at a ceremony in the Aso Drive area of Abuja and political juggernauts graced the event.

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Yobe Governor and APC Caretaker Committee Chairman, Mai Mala Buni; Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje; former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso; and pioneer APC Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande were some of the top politicians at the ceremony.

Also present at the event were other political leaders from both the APC and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), senators, businesspeople and top shots of various state governments.

Taking to Twitter, the two proud fathers appreciated their guests for gracing the occasion.

Atiku wrote, “On behalf of my family, I express my deepest appreciation to all leaders, associates and friends who came from far and near to grace the wedding Fatiha of my son, @AliyuAtiku to Fatima Ribadu in Abuja.”

He shared photos from the ceremony…

Ribadu also took to the social media platform to do the same.

He wrote, “I just dropped off my daughter, Fatima, in her new home.

“It’s emotionally fulfilling exercise for a father.

“I deeply appreciate the honour done to my family by those who attended the wedding Fatiha earlier today, and those who sent in their goodwill and prayers.

“I thank you all.”
