The presidential candidate, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has mourned Hon. Danlami Dan Inna Likoro, the party’s candidate for Kudan Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly for the 2023 general election.
Atiku’s condolence was conveyed in a statement he personally signed on Monday.
The Herald can report that Likoro died after a brief illness, shortly after distributing zakat on Sunday.
Likoro represented Kudan Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2019.
“I received with sadness the news of the death of Hon Danlami Dan Inna Likoro, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag-bearer in the forthcoming general elections for the Kudan Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
“Hon. Danlami has contributed immensely to developing our great party and Kaduna state. He was a committed party man and a firm believer in the principles of democracy.
“My sincere condolences to his family and the PDP family. May Allah forgive his sins and grant him Aljannah Firdaus,” Atiku said.
