The leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities has rescheduled its National Executive Council meeting for Friday November 23rd citing the pressing burial arrangements of its late compatriot Festus Iyayi as reason for the delay.
The meeting which may no longer hold at Bayer University, Kano will determine if the Union will call of the 5 month old strike action.
A source who craved anonymity said the meeting was not postponed indefinitely but was rescheduled out of respect for the former Union president.
