Nigerian hip-hop star, Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has reconciled with his father, Fatai Odunsi, after a public feud. Asake has also agreed to take responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat, and buy his father a house, covering his medical expenses.
The reconciliation comes days after Mr. Odunsi accused Asake of abandoning him since his health started declining in 2022. However, in a new video on Sunday, Mr. Odunsi confirmed that Asake has reached out to him, and they have settled their differences.
Speaking in Yoruba, Mr. Odunsi said, “His mother ought to ask him when last he saw me. That was what got me angry, but we have sorted all the problems. We are no longer fighting.” He further revealed that Asake has promised to do everything he wants, including buying him a new house and covering his medical expenses.
Asake has also agreed to take full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat. Mr. Odunsi added, “He has never denied his child, but he has now promised to take full responsibility for the child.”
