Arsene Wenger has said that reports that he is on the verge of joining AC Milan is false and he called it ‘Fake News’
There had been reports that the Frenchman could take over from under-fire manager Gennaro Gattuso and there were also rumours that scout, Gilles Grimandi could be joining him.
This won’t be the first Arsenal connection to AC Milan. At the start of the month, Arsenal’s CEO, Ivan Gazidis, left his post at Arsenal and is set to start a new job at AC Milan in December.

When asked about it on beIN sports, he said: “The only thing I can say is that it’s fake news,”
A former charge of Wenger, Mathieu Flamini, said that the former Arsenal manager would have been a great fit for Milan
“I don’t need to tell you he’s an incredible manager. He proved it for many years,” he said.
“I’m very close to Arsene, it’s been very inspiring for me to work with him. I think he would be great for AC Milan.”
As for when he’ll return to football, Wenger stated that it could be pretty soon
“[I’ll return] at the beginning of 2019,” he admitted. “At the moment I’m having a good rest and I watch football a lot.”
“I said many times maybe the best way is not to be in England because I spent so much time at the same club it would seem odd to go somewhere else [in the Premier League].
“At the moment I can’t tell you about my future because I don’t know. I will be somewhere but I don’t know where.”
